- ORIGIN: United States of
America
- Hawaii
DESCRIPTION:
- Light to medium body
- Mild flavor
- Mildly acidic
- Highly aromatic
HISTORY:
The only coffee grown in the United States. This coffee is
truly unique in flavor. Because it is grown in a soil rich
with volcanic ash, and is constantly soaked by seasonal rains
during a growing season that is almost year-round, this coffee has a truly
distinctive flavor that puts it in the running for one of the most highly
sought after coffees in the world.
Grown on the highest slopes of the volcano Mauna Loa on the
Kona coast of Hawaii, just 2400 miles
west of California, USA, our Kona coffee is medium roasted to
bring you the best possible flavor from the bean without interfering sharp tones from being overly roasted.
Note: We have recently introduced a French Roast Kona, which is
indescribably delicious!!
UPDATE - Once again we have the Kona bean
available. We are subsidizing the cost on this amazing coffee
simply because, as good as it is, I don't think any coffee is
worth $60.00/lb. Our current internet price for the
Kona Bean is surely one of the best prices available anywhere.
