Who We Are . .
. The
Colorado Coffee Company is a locally owned, locally operated coffee
roaster. We first opened for operation in Loveland on July 20, 2009.
All coffees are high-altitude "micro-roasted" at our main shop
in Loveland in our drum roaster (see left). To ensure freshness and
quality, no roasted coffees are sold over 10 days old.
We have a number of coffee varieties to choose from, as well as over
thirty
flavors, all available in regular or
decaffeinated coffee! (all decafs are Swiss water processed, by the
way).

FRESH
ROASTED
Coffee in its natural state is pretty
useless. It's a green bean much like any other seed. The art of the
Roastmaster is to bring out the complex, aromatic essences that are unique
to each bean origin. Some beans will be roasted lightly so the delicate
subtleties are not overwhelmed, while others will be more darkly roasted
to bring out their uniquely piquant flavor.
We custom roast every few
days or so, depending on volume, so as not to exceed our 10 day
limit on freshness. We depend solely on experience, and visual and
auditory clues to know exactly when the roast is finished.
